The Scoop:
I stayed at the Lamb and Lion with my BFF on our first annual get-away weekend. We cannot wait to return! We found the Lamb and Lion on the Internet and felt it would be a good fit for us. During our stay, I lost track of the number of times we commented on what a great find the Lamb and Lion was! Tom kept us busy with his driving tours, only available at Lamb and Lion! We saw all the hidden gems of the Cape that we probably would have missed otherwise. Ali cooked up the most delicious breakfasts each morning. She creates a variety of sinful (butterscotch muffins, orange sticky rolls) and healthy (her infamous homemade granola, fresh fruit, yogurt). This is one of the few bed and breakfasts with a pool, which was a real draw for us. We also spent some time in the hot tub, and beside the evening fire Tom built for us after a long day of whale watching. The Lamb and Lion is truly a little piece of Heaven on Earth!
Pros:
Tom and Ali! They clearly love what they do and their passion for the hospitality industry is obvious. They are very accessible to everyone staying at the inn. We conversed with them quite a bit, and often saw them visiting with other guests, giving tours of the other rooms in the inn, and sharing their wealth of information with anyone who needed information. We appreciated all of the advice they were able to give us during our visit. Their knowledge of the Cape allowed us to make the most of our stay. From the heavenly beds, to the delicious breakfasts, to the hosts that made us feel like family, this is hands-down the place to stay when you visit the Cape.
Cons:
Having to leave, but we will be back!
