The Scoop:
Very entertaining and interesting place to visit to learn more about Cape Cod and the Chatham area. The fishing exhibit, Durand collection of shells and glass, Stallknecht and Brett paintings and the replica of rooms and camp from the past are among my favorites in this local museum packed with professional displays and knowledgeable docents. The provide a number of fascinating talks throughout the year and a summer program for kids.

Pros:
The variety of items & quality displays. The friendly and knowledgeable staff staff. A modest entry fee. Great little museum shop. Special programs.

Cons:
Not open to the public year around yet but recently they have started expanding their hours and season.
